Mercy Connections
Mercy-sponsored educational institutions enjoy a collective commitment to the future of Catholic education in the tradition of Mercy.
Begun in September 1999, the Network for Mercy Education is a network of Mercy high schools "characterized by partnership among lay and religious colleagues, a faith-filled environment, cultural and economic diversity, and the pursuit of academic excellence." (from Vision Statement, Sponsorship Study, 1999)
Founded in 1982, the Mercy Secondary Education Association is "an organization founded by the Sisters of Mercy to provide a national forum to enhance and further the Mercy charism in secondary education." (from Mission Statement, MSEA, 1986)
There are over 40 Mercy secondary schools in the United States, Central and South America. And there are Mercy secondary schools in other parts of the world as well - Ireland, England, Australia, and New Zealand.
