Goals, Campaigns & Projects

Goals

In the Fall of 2004, the Mercy High School Board of Trustees approved the following strategic goals for the Development Office:

  • To develop a plan to establish a $1,000,000 Endowment Fund that will generate a percentage of income for the operating budget for use by the administration.
  • To evaluate the Magic of Mercy--the Campaign for Mercy High School with a view toward developing a plan to lay the foundation for the next capital campaign.
  • To initiate a cultivation program to enhance and build relationships with all constituencies - with an emphasis on alumnae.
  • To increase annual giving to $500,000 in the next five years.
  • To develop and initiate a Major Gifts Program that will benefit both the Annual Fund and future capital campaigns.

Campaigns

The Annual Fund

Tuition does not cover all the costs of a Mercy education. The school depends on support from you, her benefactors. The Annual Fund covers the lapse between costs and tuition income.

In the tradition of Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, a primary goal of Mercy High School is "to provide a superior education...to a broad spectrum of young women."

Make Magic happen by giving a gift today!
