Fathers’ Club

Greetings!

On behalf of the Father’s Club, I offer you a welcome to Mercy High School!

The Father’s Club here at Mercy is an excellent way to become involved in your daughter’s experience. As you know, time moves quickly as your daughter grows. This organization is ready to welcome you immediately and to include you in the many activities we perform for the benefit of the girls here at Mercy. We offer a great way to socialize with other fathers at our monthly meetings, while organizing the sponsorship of projects and events.

The Club has over 100 members, a very large board, and supports the school’s mission through its work. The Father-Daughter Dance and Father-Daughter Communion Breakfast provide special ways to be involved in your daughter’s growth here at Mercy. We host fundraisers such as an annual Shrimp Feast in October, a Golf Outing in May and a Crab Feast Raffle. Our members are also present and assist at events such as the Open House, student dances, and drama productions.

The Father’s Club meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria from August through June. After the business of the meeting is concluded, we provide a buffet dinner, drinks and lots of conversation!

I encourage you to attend a meeting and to see how you can become involved. I guarantee you will enjoy the experience, make new friends, and enrich your daughter’s and your memories of the Mercy High School experience.
