Apply to Mercy

While working to finalize your application to Mercy High School, be sure to keep these things in mind! 

APPLICATION CHECK LIST:

  • Click here to create your portal for scheduling events, applying online, and communicating with our admissions team.
  • Schedule a Visiting Day and 1:1 interview at Mercy. Visiting Days in the fall are for Future Mercy Girls who will apply for the Class of 2031. Visiting Days are scheduled throughout the fall beginning on Tuesday, September 29 through Thursday, December 3.
  • Register for the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Students applying as transfers may use first-year high school transcripts in place of the HSPT.
  • Complete the application and submit on or before December 11, 2026.
  • Submit a request for records and the Common Referral Form to your current school. These forms can be found in the sidebar. If you are currently enrolled in a Catholic middle/elementary school, your school should provide these pieces to us. You do not need to submit our additional form unless noted by your school. 
Kindly note, applications for admission for the Class of 2031 are due on December 11, 2026.


IMPORTANT EVENTS:

  • Open House: Join us on Saturday, October 17 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.! Experience everything that makes Mercy magical during our annual Open House! In the spirit of Catherine McAuley, Mercy High School has created experiential learning opportunities in which Mercy Girls engage directly with their studies through research, internships, service, travel, leadership experiences, and real-world partnerships that deepen understanding and build confidence for decades! Our International Baccalaureate Program and Signature Programs redefine the meaning of academic excellence. Come meet our Mercy Girls, faculty, and staff, and discover how a Mercy education combines academic excellence, compassionate leadership, and sisterhood in a way that is uniquely MAGICAL! Registration is required and can be completed here.
  • All Arts Day: Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade girls are invited to discover the MAGIC of The Arts at Mercy on Saturday, November 7 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.! Students can participate in the Dance Track OR the Explorer's Track featuring opportunities in acting, musical theatre, visual art, instrumental music, or creative writing!   • Athletics Open House: Welcome to MAGIC NATION, home of champions! Mercy athletics integrates the classic high school sports experience with a professional feel. We can’t wait to welcome you to campus for on Wednesday, November 19 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. where you can meet coaches and student athletes while learning more about the opportunities available to all Mercy Girls. Registration is required and can be completed here. We hope to see you there!
  • Magic Moments Information Sessions: Each month, the Admissions Team hosts an information session for parents/guardians of Future Mercy Girls! Meet our Admissions Team and learn more about our unparalleled offerings! Registration can be completed for any of the sessions below here.
    • Tuesday, September 15: 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
    • Tuesday, October 27: 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. This session focuses on our Sister Michelle Carroll Learning Services Program.
    • Tuesday, November 17: 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
    • Tuesday, December 1: 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
  • High School Regional Fairs: We’re coming to a school near you! This year, the Archdiocese of Baltimore will host three high school regional fairs. All fairs will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the location specified below. We can’t wait to see you there! Speak with our Mercy Girls and our Admissions Team about what the next four years of your life could look like! BE MAGICAL. BE MERCY!

    • Tuesday, September 22: Maryvale Preparatory School
    • Thursday, October 1: Archbishop Curley High School
